In our area, Hospice Quinte had a fundraiser called Dump the Plump. $20 to join and at the end, 6 mths we have a final weigh in to see how wins a portion of the entry fee.
On my first weigh in, I was 310.2 lbs. Today I weighed in at 257.4.
Tomorrow we find out who gets the money. I didnt want to say who wins, because even if I dont get cash, I still won.

I found the coolest thing on the WW website last night that I never knew
existed! Sorry if everyone else already knew this and I'm the only one in
the dark, but just in case thought I'd pass it on cuz I thought it was so
cool! There is a tab you can click on called "Restaurant Finder" and then
there is a drop down menu of points ranges that you are willing to spend on
your meal and then it gives you a big list of things you can order for that
amount of points. I thought that was so neat!

~~~Faye~~~
P.S. I am really behind on e-mail due to a glitch on my Incredimail when I
downloaded the latest version that downloaded everything 2 and 3 times the
first time I used it after the update so I have like 17,000 e-mails in my
box now! So anyway to anyone who lost or joined recently or anything like
that I am not ignoring you. I also am in a lot of groups that share
Incredimail stationary. But this week I've decided to leave those off and
just concentrate on these WW groups I'm in and one other group I really like
first so hopefully I can at least catch up with you guys soon. But I may
just start with today when I get home so please don't feel ignored if I
don't welcome or congratulate you if it was before today... I hope you all
understand!
Great job Jennifer!!!! !!!!!
I am still on the journey have lost 20 lbs and have another 20 to go to get to goal but I know the feeling when you have to start pulling up your pants because they don't fit any more. Congratulations I am sure you will reach your goal next weigh-in. God Bless Denise
12a. Week 4 Issues!
Posted by: "aprilleigh111974" aprilleigh1974@gmail.com aprilleigh111974
Date: Mon Jun 1, 2009 5:06 pm ((PDT))
Ok, I guess I'm kinda losing motivation or something. After my week 3 WI, and having lost .8 lbs after the Memorial Day weekend, you'd think that I'd still be motivated. But it's almost like since I've lost a WHOLE WHOPPING 5 lbs, and I feel better, and I feel like I look better, it seems I'm thinking I've done better than I have, and I kinda fell off. Well, kinda but not really. See I've seemed to have lost my journal, so I haven't written anything down since my WI on Wednesday, and it's almost been a whole week. But, i honestly think I've done OK, but only because I eat even LESS than I should, just because I'm scared to go over. I need help.
April it's good that you are writing down what you are eating.  Don't be to hard on yourself but DO get to a meeting and get back on track....If The first meeting you go to doesn't motivate you THEN go to another.  I've been know to go to several meetings in a week. Remember  Once you weigh for the week you can go to as many meetings that you can find. Different leaders have different ways of presenting the materials and you might hear something from members of that you didn't hear before.
I went back to my regular Monday morning meeting in Jan.  The same members were there with the same stories.  The rreplacement leader was sweet but NOT motivating.  I kept going back week after week and losing and gaining the same pound.  Then I started leader shopping and found a gal who gets the members invnolved.
PS grab a few extra planners or sign up e-tools I love it.
