22 minutes on the upright bike = 4.17 miles
23 minutes on the elliptical = 1.59 miles
10 minutes on the rower = 1254 meters
17 minutes on the recumbant bike = 3 miles
68 minutes on the treadmill = 2.90 miles
I spent the rest of the day running around town buying supplies for our cat show this weekend. I am exhausted from shopping! And because of the show this weekend I wont be able to go to the gym. We have our National Awards on Saturday and as president of the club I have to be there. Plus I have to dress up. Crap!

PS. I have to bath three cats today, I will put that down for 10 points. LOL!

Hello all. What a wonderful day it is. WI today 197.4, whoo hoo. Down 1.6, total lost........ 33.6 lbs. Good-by pounds.
Again I have been hearing alot of the "I only lost a pound or 1/2 a pound" talk on the group. I have lost 33.6 lbs since March 5th, 12 easy weeks, a few pounds at a time. Time flies, and so will your weight loss. Just think at a pound or so a week, I will weigh....... ...188 (my next goal) in a few short weeks. Then on and on.
with love and blessings,
Tracylea from Indiana

Well, all that water and I guess it worked. Down the 1.9 gain from last week and an additional .8 showing -2.7 this week. As I said, I am not counting the 1.9 cause I gained that last week by being an energy, pop drinkin fool instead of water for almost the entire week. I'm pleased! I don't mind makin up ground as long as I do it and add a lil bit to boot....

My mom and my sister now want to do WW because they have seen my success. My sister is a single mom with 2 kids and doesnt have a lot of money. My mom takes care of the kids when she is at work so is tired by the time my sister comes to get them. So they really dont have time to attend meetings or the money to pay. I know a lot of you say you do this on your own. How can they do that without the slider? I really want to help them out.

Thanks,

Hi Everyone,
Just a quick note to re-introduce myself. I was an active participant on
this board last summer but becasue of crazy work and school schedules,
had to put MANY things on the back burner, including WW (although I
continued to receive and enjoy posts from this board.) The good news is
that in the past 9 months I have not gained back any of the weight I
lost last summer! WHEW!
I am a 43 yo mom to five great kids ages 23-14, and I have a great hubby
of 24 years. I am a senior at a local university, majoring in music (2
more quarters - yay!)
Last week I weighed about 218 pounds. And now I am ready to lose some
more!
Thanks in advance for your encouragement and support. One note: I tend
to be mostly vegetarian so if anyone has any great veg meal ideas or
websites, please share!

Welcome to the group Joan!! My advice would be to just jump right in!
Share your victories, your struggles, and offer advice when you can! And
follow your WW program the best you can, and before you know it, your
clothes will fit better. One thing you know is that you will have clothes
to fit as you lose. I would suggest that once the 16's are too big, you get
rid of them! Then when the 14's are too big - get rid of them! Never keep
clothes that are too big!
I know what you mean about your body hurting too. All that added weight
DOES make a big difference. I am 43 - will be 44 next month - and I can
tell a difference in the aches and pains my body has based on my weight -
which right now is one of the highest I've ever been.
I realize you are in a stressful life situation right now too. BUT - will
food solve your problems? NO! And you have to make choices when you eat
anyway, so make the right choices. It's all about choices - it's really as
simple as the choices we make. Of course it's harder to do, but with a
little pre-planning, you can do it!!
Again - welcome! Jump right in!!!
Kelley

Subject: [Serious-Weight-Watchers] Hi Everyone... I'm Joan and you ladies
inspire me.
Hi there.... I joined this group silently last week and have been reading
all your posts but not replying until now. And... WOW... I sure get lots of
emails from this group in my "inbox"... you are a very active group and have
inspired me. :-)
Ok... here's my deal. I have been very successful on weight watchers in the
past. I've lost 10 here.. 20 here... 40 here etc. etc. etc.
I am 5'3 and have gone up and down my entire life. When getting dressed in
the morning I just go through my closet from size 5 to 16... wherever I fit
that day, month or year... I've got the clothes. Up until now..
I maintained my weight for a few years at between 150-160. Well.. I am a
commodities broker and have been successfully self employeed for the past 10
years. Then the economic downturn. No business. So what did I do.. ate and
ate and ate. I am now a whopping 193 and have no more clothes that fit. I
look ridiculous. Also... I need to be looking for a job. I am now 48
attractive but fat competing against 20 year olds in the work force. Not a
pretty picture.
Additionally.... My body just hurts. I have taken on several jobs just to
make ends meet until I can find a decent career job until my business comes
back. I am on my feet all the time and I am telling you... I feel so old
because of the weight. It's horrible.
Of course... all I want to do is hibernate. It's just terrible.
I know for so many reasons that I want to begin again. I know that being on
this site will help me. I love support groups and believe in them. I have
been your posts and you all seem so wonderful and so supportive. You've all
been where I am and it seems to be that you are all successful and heading
in the right direction.
Presently.. I am in the process of moving. We will do the actual move on the
14th. So... I am not sure that this is the perfect time to start this
lifestyle change. Perhaps I can just begin watching what I am doing and cut
out all the junk food.
Any suggestions or support that you can offer... I would greatly appreciate.
I am just overwhelmed by what I have done to myself.
