20 minutes on the upright bike
24 minutes on the elliptical
68 minutes on the treadmill
5+ minutes on the recumbant bike
I took Saturday, Sunday and Monday off from the gym. We were at a cat show in the weekend and then we had follow up work to do after the show.
I was on my feet all weekend. But it was fun.

Hi,  My exercise this week is not going too well.  Two days in a row, the gym has been completely out of towels.  Not a scrap of terry cloth in the building.  I can do the elliptical without a towel.  So I figuratively tossed in the towel & just did strength training both days.  And felt very annoyed & guilty.  We're going to another gym tomorrow, so I will do better.... amy

Amy,

It's frustrating when there are no towels - I MUST have a towel for the
elliptical too. It's great that you went ahead and did something else
though - strength training is always great. I would just keep my own towel
with me - and that way you don't have to worry if they have no towels! Just
keep one handy!

I jsut picked up this for my Wii. Why must I have to do so many lunges and squats??? My legs have been hurting for a week now ! I do not like this game very much, yet. I will try it again when I can walk up stairs without pain.
Have you lost any weight using the Wii?

You can change your workout to suit your needs. And I haven't lost a lot of
weight not because of the game but I've been under so much stress with my
dad and other personal family matters that I put me on the back burner
again.. I love all three: The Fitness Coach,. EA Active, and the Wii Fit. I
never get bored.
Blessings,
kilianna

6a. New Again !

I go tonight for my first of several firsts. If that makes any sense to you. I am a life-timer and need to lose 20lbs to get back to my goal weight. Stress may have a huge factor in my failure to keep these pounds off. I feel like this time I will lose and maintain my weight, I have had a few health scares in the last few months (heart) still have to go for an Nuclear Stress test in July.
I suppose I am nervous about the weigh in, because it has been hard for me to track and keep from overeating certain items (ice cream) I feel like I did real good this week. I hope so.

Hi Margie,

I'm in about the same place - without major health scares. It's difficult to stay on track all day, evenings are bad bad bad. I too have to get back to goal and have about 12 lbs left to go. I'm a lifetimer and really want to keep this as a way of life without struggling so much. Life is good, so staying healthy is important. I'm in the 50+ bracket and am finding it so much more difficult.

Okay, will stop my whining.  12 lbs is easy peasy compared with the journey so many are on. Good luck at weigh in and let us know how it goes.

Hi Ladies,
Sorry I hqave been missing from the group. I have had a family emergency going on. I have not been doing well eating wise at all. I am going to try to get back on track soon. I exercised last night. I bought a dvd of hip hop abs. I did about 15 minutes last night. It was an introduction part where it teaches you the moves to the workouts. I am trying to get the hang of it. It is fun though. I am going to do it again this evening. Plus I worked today. I stand all day at work.

Congrat's to all who had good weigh ins. I have regained 4 pounds and I am going to get that off asap.

Welcome to all the new ladies.

Tammy
