Today is the big day. I should hit my goal weight. I hope. I need to be at 141 and last week I was 141.4. So I needed to lose .4. When I stepped on my scale this morning it said 140.6. If I dont hit it this week I will cry. My good friend has been doing this with me and she should make goal as well. We wanted to make it together. I got a  call from Weight Watchers last night on the training to become a leader so that should be a good sign. My weigh in is at noon--I am so nervous.

I usually like to listen to my iPod when I'm on a treadmill or my
elliptical, so I always look around for good music. Well, I am going to
have to recommend the "Twilight Soundtrack." Oh my goodness - what great
music!! LOL!!

Way to go Robin! I think you learn from every endurance event you run.
So did you ever DREAM you'd call yourself a half marathoner?

Great job, Kathryn!!

Kelley

Today was a very good weigh in with a 3.5 loss (was up last week by 2 and
the week before as well), I'm going to be doing a happy dance AND take a new
class at the gym today. I don't think it is 'age appropriate' and will
proabably kick my a** but I'm going to try Body Attack. Yikes - just the
name scares me. I'm past the 50 mark so things get broken easily....still
feel my shoulder muscles from trying to do push-ups - won't do that again,
life is too short to break body parts.

I DID IT

I lost 1.4 this week making my total loss 21 pounds. I made goal weight. My friend Amy and I have been doing all of this together. I was nervous all morning and we were emailing each other to keep our heads up. She weighed in first and made goal--I was smiling but of course was very scared at this point. I stepped on the scale and BOOM. I made it too. I had tears coming out and Amy gave me a huge hug. I am so flipping proud of myself. I knew I could do it, and I did. I got a call last night from a DM of weight watchers asking if I was still interested in working for weight watchers and becoming a leader. Perfect timing:-) I thought this was a good sign. I begin that training at the end of august. Amy and I are going out tonight to buy a new outfit and have dinner. I need to maintain now for the next 6 weeks. After 6 weeks if I am 2 pounds above or below my goal weight then I become lifetime. I get to add 4 points back in:-) Im excited about that. I can
eat more--LOL. Thanks everyone for your support. I am so very happy.
