Hello everyone, well it is Tuesday morning and after my visit with the
doctor yesterday I decided I needed to get going with a good diet program
and some exercise and quit playing around with it, on one day and off the
next.
So today is it. I have already had cereal for breakfast and have done 10
minutes of exercises. I have to take the exercises just a few minutes at a
time or I hurt to much so I am going to do more later.
I hope your day is going well, although you are likely still sleeping when I
am witting this letter, I've been up since 2:00 AM and it is only 6:30 now.
Well you will likely catch some more zzzzzzzzz and catch up and pass me
later on.
I have a ton of housework to get in sometime today too. Do we count our
housework as exercise? Hahaha
Blessings to ya'll.

Hi Renee-
I stole that saying from someone long ago and I don't know of anyone who would have a problem with it being repeated. So, be my guest.

Today I worked out on my Wii Fit, I did 45 minutes all together. Not all at
the same time as I have health problems that flare up when I do to much.

Hello all! Back from my trip north to visit the kids. Had a ball! Caught a ballgame in Milwaukee, ate Real Chili! Once again dined out at least once a day and managed to stay OP! My scales say that I maintained. No loss this trip. We'll see at weigh in tomorrow..But I am very happy with a "status quo" with all of the terrific things that I did and ate and drank..teehee... I managed to get a walk in almost every day in some capacity or the other. There is a huge outlet mall there and my GD and I booked through it a few days and then sat to have a Dippin Dots for her and a Starbuck's skinny, carmel/hazelnut latte for me. She was awsome with her support and pushing me to get the walk in..*cough* of course it had nothing to do with the shopping for her at Claire's and Kohl's afterwards, lol...
I can't begin to answer to all of the emails, but send huge congrats to the "Losers", huge hugs to the "Gainers", and huge we'll get em next week to the "Maintainers like myself".
Have a Golden Day all and DRINK YOUR WATER!! HA!

9 Hidden Reasons to Stay Motivated
Ways to Rediscover Your Drive
-- By Zach Van Hart, Staff Writer
Everyone tells us to stay motivated. Our friends, our co-workers, our relatives say to keep going, dont quit. Sometimes, though, you ask, "Why? Why try my hardest when it ends in disappointment? Why go through something when its going to hurt? Why?"
Because its going to be different this time! Because you cant accomplish anything that you give up on. Disappointments and failures happen to everyone. The difference between those who reach their goals and those who dont is staying motivated. If youre motivated, youll keep going. If you keep going, eventually youll reach your goal.
Need more reasons? Here are 10 of our hidden reasons to stay motivated. Use one or all of them to keep the fire burning inside you.
1. Confidence
How did it feel after that first jog around the block? Or when you finally walked the stairs at work without losing your breath? The more you accomplish, the more youll believe in yourself.
2. Fit into that dress
Its been hanging up in your closet for two years now, just waiting to be thrown on for a night on the town. All it takes is for you to go that extra mile and stay on track. Before you know it, those two years will be ancient history.
3. Make the week easier
Ever felt like a week was taking forever? It feels like Friday, but its only Tuesday? This happens when youre not working towards anything. When you have a goal in mind, youll want to cook that healthy dinner or go to the gym. The week will not only go faster, but be more enjoyable.
4. Gives you purpose
Every once in a while, we need a good reason to get out of bed. Here it is, right in front of you. Eat the healthy breakfast thats going to jump start your day, go for your morning jog, or walk to the driveway and grab the newspaper. When youre motivated, you have a reason to do what you do.
5. For your kids
And your grandkids. And their kids, too. The healthier you are, the longer youll be around to watch your kids grow and to spoil your grandchildren. Theyll want you to be around as long as possible; consider this just another present.
6. Power of momentum
Its a scientific fact something in motion tends to stay in motion. Momentum builds quickly and can lead to great results. Suddenly, youre not only working for the goal, but also to keep your streak alive. Even more reason to reach your goals.
7. The wow effect
Picture this: Walking into a restaurant, you run into someone from high school, and their eyes light up. They gasp, "Wow, you look great!" By sticking with your goals, this can happen. Watch the "wows" add up.
8. Spread the spark
When friends and family see how hard youre working, theyll wonder how they can reach their own goals. Guess who theyre going to look to for help? By staying motivated, youll not only help yourself, but others too.
9. Keep gaining experience
The more you do, the more you will learn and understand. Youll discover which tactics work best for you and which ones dont. Its like weeding out the garden - not the most enjoyable job in the world, but when youre done, all thats left are beautiful flowers. Keeping sticking with it and soon it will be all flowers for you.
