Tammy, don't fret over 2.4 lb loss! That's a great, healthy loss. Just think how fast the pounds will roll off if you do that every week!

Are you getting enough protein? When I did the Core program, which has minimal pastas & breads, I found that I was really hungry unless I ate alot of protein. Some of the satisfying snacks I found were: hard boiled eggs, lowfat cheese, FF cottage cheese, yogurt, almonds (even those aren't core), chicken, tuna. Try and see if you can add some higher protein snacks and see how that does for your hunger.

Since I have found out that I can not have wheat or wheat products I feel like I am starving.

I also was expecting the scale to dramactically drop without eating breads, pasta's and other stuff treats and such.

However, the scale says I have lost 2.4 pounds this week. I was really hoping to see more of a loss than that. I just feel disappointed as I have faithfully stuck to the diet. I guess I was just expecting more.

Tammy

Hi All-

I haven't posted for a while - I've been SO wishy-washy about WW.

But, I wanted to claim my seat and tell you about my weigh-in. I lost 1.6 this week for a total of 27 pounds gone. Yay!!!

Best-
Kristal

I keep saving mine and sending them in. I hope that I'll have enough
points by the end of the year to buy something good.
If anyone has any extra, I'm more than happy to take them off your
hands!!

5. Newbie Again!

Hello everyone,

I had started Weight Watchers last October and was doing extremely well with the program. I attended my weekly meetings and was losing weight at a steady pace. I was starting to have more energy and my pants where feeling nice and loose. Well...then in mid November I found out I needed to have my thyroid removed for possible thyroid cancer. So I had one thyroid taken out in December and kept the other one until I found out the results. I ended up finding out in January that it was not cancer so I was ok. My other thyroid kicked in and took over all my thyroid function so no medication either! Anyways I gained a whole lot of weight (even more then I weighed before). So I am finally ready to take that step and get started again.

You guys were such a great help before that I had to come back again.

Connie

I have Turbo Jam and I really, really enjoy it! Mine came with 6 different DVD's. The first one is called the Learn & Burn, she has 11 moves that are in every single workout and the first 15 minutes she teaches you the moves; the 2nd half of the DVD is a quick 15 minute work out. Today was a rest day for me (the first week you are supposed to have 3 rest days) tomorrow I'll be doing the 20 minute work out.

Subject: [Serious-Weight-Watchers] Turbo Jam vs. Hip Hop Abs

Morning:)
Just wondering if anyone has both Turbo Jam and Hip Hop Abs and which one you think is better. I don't have Turbo Jam and I just got Hip Hop Abs in the mail yesterday and just popped it in to look at it before I tackled it-it looks fun but hard. It came with 3 DVDs with 2-3 different workouts on each. I didn't know if one was easier and then it progressed into the harder ones or what...no real explanation. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated:) Thanks:)
