Oh yes! I've also been told that I have exercise bulimia, and was publicly
blasted just recently on a rather popular message board about my exercise
habits from someone who doesn't understand what it takes to train for an
ultra marathon. It was not pretty. (In fact I believe he said that he knows
professional marathoners who would be critical of my exercise, which makes
me laugh because professional marathoners often run 100-120 miles a week,
and I top out at 70 on my high weeks and average 40.)
I just smile and know I'm doing what's right for my body. I honestly think
that we are so used to seeing overweight people (in the US more than 41% of
adults now fall into the OBESE category, it used to be the overweight
category...over half of us are overweight), that to see someone healthy
seems "extreme" but it's not. If you're exercising, eating right, your body
is working the way that it should, your doctor is happy with your health,
then the "too skinny" people should just be ignored.

Yup, I have arthritis in my lower back, so no matter how much weight I lose
I'll always have back pain. I see a chiro monthly, or more often if needed.

Hi. Disappointing WI today, lost 0.4, but I did lose inches in both my
waist(1.9 inches), Hips(1 inch) and Bust(0.3 inches), so I guess it
wasn't a total loss.
have a great week everyone!

*smack*!!! Melissa! What the heck are you complaining about???? You lost
almost half a pound, and then you lost almost 2" off of your waist!! OMG! A
whole inch off of your hips? *shakes head* what does it take to make you
happy woman? That is terrific!!!!!! The scale is so deceiving but the
tape......... that doesn't lie! I'd take that any day!!! WTG!!!!!! Keep it
up!

Just disappointed because TOM was last week(so that's why I gained) and
thought I'd lose more of what I'd gained. The inches are nice though :)
I didn't expect that big a change at all.

It's terrific that you had measured and could realize that you did have a
fairly large success after all, even though the scale didn't show it. I'm
very happy for you!

Faye, When I know I am up - only because of my period - I just use my No
Weigh In Pass. Mentally that is usually the best thing for me to do -
especially since I'm hormonal as well during that time. LOL

Today was a very good weigh in with a 3.5 loss (was up last week by 2 and the week before as well), I'm going to be doing a happy dance AND take a new class at the gym today. I don't think it is 'age appropriate' and will proabably kick my a** but I'm going to try Body Attack. Yikes - just the name scares me. I'm past the 50 mark so things get broken easily....still feel my shoulder muscles from trying to do push-ups - won't do that again, life is too short to break body parts.

I was reading in one of my WW books today that when you are burning fat and building muscle that a small loss usually means you're losing the inches, Your body is actually smaller even though the loss is not as high a number. Your body is much healthier.  I'd much rather a smaller body than a lower weight.

Congrats!!!!!

Somehow, I did something and made that big E you click on to get on the

click on Internet Explorer from the start bar but there was no option to
make it a shortcut again it just said browse, browse without add ons, and
properties.

various parts of my body since 4/28, so that felt good!
