Okay I finally sat down and played with Facebook and made my account and can halfway use it :) I'd love for those with facebook to add me as a friend. Deanna I could not find you. I tried typing Lewisville High School but nothing came up using that. Add me, Kathy Stuit, I'm the only one that comes up with that name!

First mini goal - 219

Don't know if I sent this. I am a bit forgetful. Well it is Stage 4
brain cancer. total of 12 lesions-- 9 on left side 3 on right. Largest 1.4
cm. Will see the radiologist Monday morning to make a plan of attack. Could
be as short as 3 months or as long as a year if there are no tumors in the
body cavity. If there are then they will also do chemo. At least now
dieting is not a worry--
Keep the prayers coming.

Today my exercise was unloading 500 bricks from the pickup and carrying them over to where my husband is building a larger patio. I also did my yoga and tai chi and horse rider fitness exercises in combination with exercises the physical therapist gave me, for improving my balance and increasing my strength.

Ginny -
I know how you love to travel, if you can get it in before you have to start
your treatment do it! It's very therapeutic to have something like that
planned! It will keep your mind off the upcoming rough times. But during
your recuperation, you can start planning your next trip.
I remember a couple years ago you were coming to Michigan and we didn't
connect, but you just sound like such an adventurer! This cancer thing is
just another adventure! It is so amazing what they can do today! Luckily,
you have this "eating right" thing ingrained in your mind. So, you know
what you have to do. My good friend has been at Mayo for three months for a
bone marrow transplant. Hers was an "incurable" cancer (multiple myeloma),
and after some very rough times, she is almost ready to come home. There is
absolutely NO TRACE of any cancer cells! She was one that had to watch her
weight and she is now baggy in a size six! (she was always a 12 or 14 -
which I'd LOVE to be!)

Thanks for the support. You do not know how alone you feel when something
like this happens. It is just nice to see people out there care. I truly
appreciate the support.
Monday will be the day to see what is really going on. I have a trip I
had planned to Alaska that might have to happen sooner then expected. I hope
to still get it in. I am trying to look at alternative medicine but there
is so much information out there and under stress it is hard to digest. I
waiver from making plans for my lighthouse paintings and thing I have to
planning trips, It is so weird
For the first time in my life-- I am buying any food-- got to stop that and
get back on WW because I have pancreatitis and that has still to be
monitored. My frig is stuffed but I am really not hungry. Odd feeling for
me.
They said the steroids should make me want to eat but so far no. I eat
some ice cream-- it helps with the pills and I can eat just 3 Tablespoons to
settle my stomach enough the pills don't bother me.
Guess I am rambling--Just wanted you to know I appreciate the support--

Thanks to all of you---your support is very important to me. I have a
wonderful son and a friend close here. Daughter is in Las Vegas and a husband
that is an AA and not much help at all. He was first worried about what
would happen to the money and the house and what the kids got and what he got
and how my charge bill would be paid. ETC. When I ended up in the
hospital at 4 pm-- he never called to see if I even made it there safely (rove
myself) did not show up till 10 pm after I was given the news. did not go to
the dr for the news the next day-- so you see I am quite on my own and your
support and help are very important to me.
I have not been active on the list but I have been reading it for year.
You are the family I do not have.
