Hi everyone! Weigh in last night...lost 0.6lbs which is fine with me (I lost 3.8 last week and I have realized that it all evens out in the end!). One thing I wanted to share. We are heading to Virginia on Friday for vacation. I called to sign up to do a trail ride with 2 of my boys. The woman on the phone said...is the adult under 240lbs? I proudly said yes. I told her I was a WW and I lost 36lbs so far, and I am officially under the 240 mark. OF course I cant tell anyone else how excited this made me feel, because telling people would admit to them how much I weigh...so I wanted to share with you all. Have a wonderful day! Heidi

The good thing about this vacation is that we have a full kitchen in our unit, so I will have no trouble with my meals. Some people think that they wouldnt want to cook on vacation, but I dont mind because I am not doing all the other house chores that go with it. I have planned my meals, packed a lot of foods, and will go to the grocery store just prior to getting to the resort.
It is certainly easier that eating out for all meals (esp with 5 of us!) Have a great night everyone! Heidi

That is a good thing. We are doing the same with our trip to South Dakota later in the month and we did going to Tennessee last year. Funny it is almost relaxing cooking and staying in after running all day. Not to mention I like the control. LOL there is 7 of us this time and 11 last year.. so I totally get where you are comin from!

I live in northwestern Michigan on beautiful Lake Leelanau! Just sitting
here reading my emails and listening to the rain. The sound of rain is
wonderful, just as long as it's gone by this weekend. I am on vacation all
next week (Cherry Festival Week in Traverse City) so I hope the weather
cooperates for some entertaining on the water!

Approaching Midway
I can not tell you how devastated I was nine and a half months ago when I
found out I had Two Hundred and Sixty Three pounds to lose. I am not sure I
will ever get over learning that information about myself.
Now with grateful solemnness I find myself 2.9 pounds away from my half way
point. Instead of feeling hopeless and lost, I am fully aware that this can
and will get done. All doubt has been removed from me and my life has
changed in so many ways for the better. My outlook is bright and I feel like
I am 20 years younger.
No matter how much you have to lose, read your Weight Watcher materials
carefully and often. Read the articles here on the Website, reach out to the
rest of us here on this message board. You are not alone.
Hold on tight to your KNOWING and let go of your DOUBTING. Trust in the
program that Weight Watchers has researched and designed for you. Shed old
bad habits and desires and replace them for new good habits. Learn to desire
that which is healthy.
This can be done. You can do it. WE can do it. I am doing it with you.
My stats after today's Weigh In
413.0 lbs 09/16/2008
284.6 lbs 06/30/2009
Week #41
Down -0.8 lbs
Total Gone -128.4 lbs
