Even with just the two of us, I would much rather cook a meal myself than
eat out ALL the time. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy going to restaurants, but
not for every meal. (Egad, I can't imagine how expensive that would be to
eat out with a family all the time!)

Hi everyone! Weigh in last night...lost 0.6lbs which is fine with me (I lost 3.8 last week and I have realized that it all evens out in the end!). One thing I wanted to share. We are heading to Virginia on Friday for vacation. I called to sign up to do a trail ride with 2 of my boys. The woman on the phone said...is the adult under 240lbs? I proudly said yes. I told her I was a WW and I lost 36lbs so far, and I am officially under the 240 mark. OF course I cant tell anyone else how excited this made me feel, because telling people would admit to them how much I weigh...so I wanted to share with you all. Have a wonderful day! Heidi

I am not going to let the fact that I was given my severence package from work ruin the hard work I have done since January.

20 minutes on the elliptical
10 minutes on the recumbant bike
5 minutes on the arc trainer

9. Grr...why do I do this?!
Posted by: "Jen" jenstk06@yahoo.com jenstk06
Date: Thu Jul 2, 2009 4:17 pm ((PDT))

I have been completely and 100% on track for the past few days, then we went out to dinner last night. My plan was to order a 6oz steak, house salad with dressing on the side and a baked potato with a little butter on the side, pack half of it up and only eat half last night...instead I got the house salad with ranch and when they brought my potato it had sour cream and butter on it, instead of sending it back, me the jackhole started eating. I ate every freaking thing!

Fast forward to today, I got up early to attempt doing my 45 minute Turbo Jam DVD, I did 25 minutes and had to stop, I was so out of breath and sore, I couldn't do anymore. I thought, ok, good, I can get back on track and forget about last night...and then I took a shower and realized how hungry I was!!!

My problem, I can't stop eating!! Seriously, I just want to eat crap and not anything remotely healthy, ARGH!!!!! What's done is done from this morning until now; I can only go on from here. I ruined breakfast and lunch with junk, I'm going to load up on water, make a fruit smoothie for snack later and then have a big ol' salad for dinner tonight and pray that the scale is 1/2 way decent to me in the morning...

Way to go, Kim!

~~~Faye~~~
P.S. I stayed the same this week but I am happy with that cuz I expected a
gain after eating the goodies brought in to work and then not tracking too
well when we saw my husband's family and they grilled food.
