HELLO EVERYONE!!!
After DECIDING to stop playing with 5 pounds, I stuck strictly to program this week and lost 4.8 pounds and hit my goal weight EXACTLY!!!!
I screamed and people clapped. I knew I would be close tonight, but I was not at all confident I would hit it when I stepped on the scale. It was thrilling to see that 146!!
My sister leader was not even there! Tracy was still on her way to the meeting after leaving her son and daughter-in-law 30 miles away in a hospital having their first baby (her 2nd grandson). She had been with them since 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon, then had to leave to get the WW meeting because there just are not substitutes available. She left an hour BEFORE her grandson was born!! With about 7 minutes left in the weigh-in period, I let one of the receptionists weigh me and it was exactly 146 pounds!!!
Tracy did get there right before the "meeting" started. I hugged and asked if she had heard about the baby (I had but her cell phone had died before she left the hospital -- she told me yes she had just found out. I hugged her and then I told her that I made goal -- she hugged me -- and then starting crying. Another lady told her she had made Lifetime tonight and Tracy said, "This is why I came tonight!" Isn't she awesome!
So it took me 18 full months to lose 121.4 (I've played with 5 pounds for 2 of those months) but I MADE GOAL!!! YIPPEE!! HOORAY!! I AM SO PROUD OF ME!!!
I just had to get home and share this news with you guys--people who have helped me believe in myself and believe that losing 120+ pounds was very doable. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

20 minutes on the upright bike
20 minutes on the elliptical
10 minutes on the recumbant bike

I may live in a great city, but I still have a weight problem. I have been
reading, lurking and posting for quite awhile here, even though I am not
really even doing weight watchers - well hit or miss. I know what I have to
do, and I'm just not doing it. I am so disgusted with myself that I've
really thrown myself into quite a depression. I cancelled my dr appointment
in May, the doctor wanted to see me for a follow up to see how I was doing
on my weight loss. I lost 20 during the winter and then gained it back.
So, when my May appt came, I called and cancelled it, thinking I could lose
some and then call and make the appt. It's not happening. The doctor's
office has called twice trying to reschedule my appt, but I have not
returned the calls. Yesterday, I got a certified letter from the doctor
insisting that I come in or he will have to "DISCHARGE" me as a patient. He
is a VERY good doctor, I really like him and want to stay with him, but
I've been feeling too guilty to go back to him.
So, after I picked up my certified letter from the post office, I cried
(again) and then called the doctor's office to schedule an appointment. I
know I need to do something about my weight. I know weight watchers is the
only way to go, but I don't make time to go. I have the time, I only work
part time, so that isn't my excuse. I feel so out of control and very
unhappy with myself. I have a first grandchild on the way, due in December.
I want to be able to do so much more with my grandchild than I can right
now, but I don't know how to get my "MOJO" back, how to get back into what I
know I need to do.
Thanks for letting me vent. I am off for the next 10 days and hope to get
involved in a better lifestyle. My scheduled dr appointment is Tuesday,
July 7th. I know the dr only wants to help me, I need to be OPEN to his
ideas.
Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers, I need a couple extra tonight!

I think we can say we've all been there/done that. The good thing is that you know what you did and you know how to correct it. I know what it's like to have to hunker down and fight to get back on track. Sometimes it's a heck of a fight too. But, once you get that first day or even that firt meal back on track, you're heading in the right direction and building up momentum back on the losing track. Don't beat yourself up over it. You know how to work your way through it.

My plan was to order a 6oz steak, house salad with dressing on the side and a baked potato with a little butter on the side, pack half of it up and only eat half last night...instead I got the house salad with ranch and when they brought my potato it had sour cream and butter on it, instead of sending it back, me the jackhole started eating. I ate every freaking thing!

I thought, ok, good, I can get back on track and forget about last night...and then I took a shower and realized how hungry I was!!!

> My problem, I can't stop eating!! Seriously, I just want to eat crap and not anything remotely healthy, ARGH!!!!! What's done is done from this morning until now; I can only go on from here. I ruined breakfast and lunch with junk, I'm going to load up on water, make a fruit smoothie for snack later and then have a big ol' salad for dinner tonight and pray that the scale is 1/2 way decent to me in the morning...
