Congrats to both of you. I'm new here too. My name is Denise and I'm in Northern Indiana.
My date is Aug 7th. 2 days from today. It's been a long wait and I'm so happy to be near the end towards my new beginning.
Did anyone feel the need to have a "last fling" so to speak. I have been terrible about that.
Good luck Mari and Leslie.

@Engy:
Congrats on your surgery! It took me one entire month to lose 9 kgs, so you are ahead of things in comparison to me. The weight loss is not instantaneous, which is a good thing, because that would not be healthy. I'll bet it took you a long time to get to your present weight, give yourself a year (yes!) to get down to a weight you will stay at for life. It took me 14 months to get to my 'goal' weight.
In the States we have a product called Mederma. I used that together with and the silicon sheets, and suggest you use the sheets in combination with a secondary gel. My skin does not heal well, I get keloid scars, but the Mederma helped keep that to a minimum.
Best,
-Vic
