Ok this may sound weird to you guys, but I just invented a new version of a
grilled cheese sandwich.
I work 3rd shift two nights a week and I've been trying to bring foods that
will sustain me through it. Anyway I *love* grilled cheese sandwiches. So...
Here's what I came up with (and I just tried it to see how it would be) We
have a toaster at my job. So on my way home I stopped at the groccery store
and got some of that spray cheese that you put on crackers. So I toasted the
bread and put that on it. Yum! Quick and easy and only 3 points for the
whole thing (we have bread here that is 1 point for 2 slices, and the spray
cheese was 2 points).

It's Weigh In Day !
Weeee~ YEAH !
I am trying my best to be excited about it so help me out with a positive post to this thread !
I am focused on staying positive. I know I was OP all week. I am not sure if the scale is going to agree with me. My loses have been pretty small lately. The one's under half a pound annoy me. I am determined to stay upbeat and focused.
So my goal today is to get through weigh in without any negative self feedback. Any time I am tempted to feel badly I will think of all the positive reasons why this is worth the effort.
I'll be needing major skinny-loser vibes so give me all you can.
Thanks
Galen

I hear ya! The less I weigh the harder its getting. My weigh in is today also! But a loss is still a loss--and it gets us that much closer on the gameboard to home!

Hi everyone. I went on vacation last week and set all my Yahoo groups
to "Web Only" so I didn't have thousands of emails when we returned.
Well, we came back yesterday, and it turns out that DIDN'T work and I
had *953* emails!(some were not Yahoo groups, but still!) Anyone know
why it didn't work? i've done it before with no problem, but not this
time. I even went back and checked, and all my memberships were set to
web only(I believe they still are, and I'm *STILL* getting emails!)
I'm going to my mom's on Saturday and don't want the same problem.
Please help!

Yahoo has some major glitches right now. I unsubbed from a homeschool group on Saturday, a group which I was set to No Mail and started receiving individual emails! I am still receiving email from the group after unsubbing days ago.
I've had a few emails from this group and another group I own wondering why they're not getting emails or why they are.
There's nothing I can do, and I don't know what the answer is. I'm sure Yahoo is hearing complaints and hopefully they're working on it. I'd email Yahoo, but not once have I ever received a response back from them.
Sorry!

I held my Runners Bootcamp this morning (very fun) then finished up with 3.5
more miles of running (we did 2.5 during boot camp). Then this afternoon Roy
and I took the kayaks out for almost three hours. My arms are SO tired!

I got my "real" Crocs yesterday, and you are right, I was able to feel
it immediately. They felt so good, I wore them out of the store! I
also like the way that my heel feels "cradled" in the back. I also got
a pair of their flip-flops for when I'm first getting out of bed, or
after I'm in bed reading, etc., and need to get up.
I live in a warm climate (Oklahoma). I will probably be able to wear
these up until November and start wearing them again in March. Here,
if you blink, you might miss our fall or spring.
And someone asked me about if I really got a good walking shoe. I did
have a professional evaluation of my feet about three years ago and
ended up in a pair of Ryka's (after being totally disappointed in New
Balance). I have to say, those walking shoes feel the best on me than
any shoe has ever felt! I need to buy a new pair, I've about worn
these out. I know when you use them regularly, three years is a long
time for a pair of shoes, so you can guess I really haven't used them
that regularly, but hope to start soon.
Also, Tory, when I went to the mall yesterday to get my Crocs, I used
a cane (my husband needs one and has several, including one he could
adjust for my height) and that gave me a surprisingly large amount of
relief, too.
Tory wrote:
The one thing that is VERY interesting about the "real" Crocs is that
you'll
be able to feel the difference immediately. They have some interesting
polymer that not only is cushioned, but it made to continually bounce
back,
yet "give" enough so it supports your foot without pain

Wow, sorry about your day, Faye. I hope the rest of today has turned
out better.
As far as the doctor, you probably won't get to talk to him, but I'm
sure he has an office manager, or someone else in charge of billing,
etc., that you could talk to and explain what happened. Also, since
you had the blood work already done, you should be able to find out
from his nurse what the results were, and if they were too low, etc.,
have some changes recommended without having to wait the two weeks to
see him again.
At least, that is how my doctor's office would handle it. They also
call me if anything shows up in any tests that I need to be aware of
without waiting for an appointment. But he has two other doctors in
with him, and he has his own PA, but there is an office manager, and a
billing/insurance clerk, as well as someone for appointments and a
receptionist. His nurse (the one that always works with him) and I are
on good terms. I might have to wait until the end of the day, but she
will always call me back. I love my doctor!!!! I have been seeing him
or his PA (not the one he has now; she and I do NOT get along and I
have it in my records I am only to see him; but the past three that he
has had I have loved and one I even preferred seeing over him!) since
1995 when my husband was put out of the Army on a medical release. He
was recommended by a friend, and at that time it was him, one nurse
(same one he has now), a PA and one person that ran the office and did
the billings!

Claudia,
The doctor was already aware about why I didn't have blood work done. And I
don't know if he wanted to see me again just for the blood work or because
of the was build up in my ears too.
Tuesday was much better. Worse thing that happened to me was getting shampoo
in my eyes so definitely a much better day.
Work started out bad though but got better as the night progressed. Mainly
cuz I work 3rd shift on Mondays and Tuesdaysso as it gets later and later,
the calls are very few and far between so I bring my portable DVD player on
3rd shift nights and watch Netflix DVD's till I run out then I e-mail and
read till it's time to go home.

Tomorrow Is my first weigh in three weeks. I can't wait to see how the four weeks on the road did for my weight. I don't own a scale so I plan on being the first person inline. Ill let you know how I do.
