Very glad to hear your Angel is in recovery, please continue to keep us posted about her, thanks. I read that her HH was worse than the surgeon had thought. Of course it was. As long as I live, I will never comprehend why doctors think they can diagnose something they can't see or feel, and will tell you all about it as if they can. I also think standard barium upper GI x-rays are not informative for WLS patients. Until they are replaced with 3-D scans (why do doctors resist those?) we must do battle to convince our medical professionals that we are experiencing symptoms to which they must attend.

I am going to be part of a meeting soon that will help "tweak," establish protocols add suggestions for the weight loss program where I live. IF you had WLS and needed answers you didn't feel were addressed for YOUR surgery experience, ( pre & post) surgery, what would YOU have to say? I realize everyone's experience will differ, symptoms, side effects, etc. *Note if you have a REAL emergency PLEASE do go to your facility/ ER. This post is not to discourage you, I just need some feed back to work with.

Please limit your reply's to 3 of the most OUTSTANDING questions that your feel are pertinent to your experience.Hopefully, this information will give anyone thinking about having and doing the surgeries (Diet program, RNY gastric bypass,lap band,etc.) I need your input before the end of March.Thanks!
