I go with the Realize Band instead. I have heard better things about it its newer tech then the Lapband. My doctor no longer uses the Lapband in his office. http://www.realize.com/dtcf/

For monitored weight lose I went to Weight Watchers. They keep a weekly account of your weight.I lost 10 lbs. with them.

I had the Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy and lost 100 lbs in less then a year.

My doc and I have discussed weight a million times but have not done anything other than "increase activity and decrease intake" which I have done to no avail. Anyone else deal with this and how hard is it to get the insurance company to actually cover it? I have coexisting conditions so that part certainly will not be a problem. Thanks!
