I'm 6 yrs old I was so happy to have my surgery bc I was tired. I didn't grow up full figured but life changes and a lack of self esteem crippled me to a heavy 387 at 5 ft I could move with the best of them, but my journey of being active with my weight caused issues asthma and sever knee issues. Which was a issue in my family all the woman no matter the size. I've lost 200lbs and the knees have gotten worse, but now I suffer from private depression bc of all the weight loss I look like melted ice cream that's what my skin looks like. My arms and thighs omg are terrible and my insurance won't pay for the removal. My support group doesn't or hasn't been faced with this issue. So I'm here for inspiration. No natter the exercise the skin remains.

I'm so sorry to hear you are upset. I am three years out. I understand the skin thing. It wasn't horrible at first. I went from 350 to 185. But I got pregnant (a huge miracle since I suffered from pcos) and now after a year my skin is worse. Between surgery and breast feeding, my boobs are pancake skin. And the skin on my thighs reminds me melted wax. I haven't looked into surgery cause we don't have the money. It is hard. Im not sure how you get thru that. One thing I have going for me is that I have a very supportive husband who tells me all the time I am beautiful.

I too understand the excess skin problem. I am 2 years out and have gone from 424 to 231. I feel like my pantyhose are way too big, I have sooooooooo much extra skin. I went from a 48 G bra to a 38 long. My insurance will not pay for removal either. If anyone out there knows what we can do to donate the excess skin please share. I guess I need to add that I am 5 ft.11 inches tall.
