George,
Thank you for this site, Im going to start tomorrow. I will try anything to not have to redo the surgery. Im assuming that if after the 5 days I am unable to eat as much and losing weight then my pouch is still able to work as it should? Just wanted to make sure and will post results when Im done! Let me know if it worked for you too..

I went to my doctor and he put me in the hospital for 4 days of tests. Found out that my thyroid is not working properly and I have a buldging disk in my neck. Neither of which are cause for the numbness.
I will keep you all posted on my progress.
