Hi,
As I mentioned in my earlier posts I was on 11 rx drugs befor surgery, 7 of which the side effect was weight gain. I think some of my rapid weight loss is due to the fact that these meds are no longer part of my life. I started out at over 400 pounds. I am now getting down to the real me. I expect my weight loss to slow way down real soon. Any weight loss is good. Stick with it!

I have lost 60 lbs in 4 months I feel like I am doing something wrong when I hear of everyone losing so much more. I am assuming it is because I am unable to exercise on a regular basis'. I am starting to lose faith in myself.. Any words of encouragment?

Hello again,
I have lost 100 pounds as of this week from gastric bypass surgery. People still look at me strange and I just smile and show all my teeth. In my head they are just impressed with my progress in 3 months.
I used to take 11 perscription meds for a variety of ailments. Now I take 3.. Losing the weight has made a huge difference in my health, both physical and mental. The decision to have the surgery is the best thing I have done in years.
