Than you for accepting me into your group. I look forward to your input on my upcoming WLS. If you have any suggestions please feel free to email them to me. I am very scared and need all the advice I can get. I guess I don't know what to expect and I don't want to be disappointed by my decision.
My family has made all sorts of negative comments and is totally against me having this type of surgery. I wish I had their support but I am in GOD's hands so I am not alone.

I wish you a lot of luck and upcoming joy with your surgery. If your doctors feel it's the right decision, then I'm sure they know better than your family. It's too bad you don't have their support, but stay strong and if your hospital has any kind of support group, it would be smart to get involved.. You'll be fine!
I'm 4 yrs out and have NEVER regretted the decision. I don't even think I can recall many people who have regretted it, even if they had complications (which I never did!).
Follow your physician's instructions carefully and you'll be fine.
