I'm sorry you've been sick Tammy. It's good that they figured out what it is though. Is it celiac disease? I just heard a story about it on NPR the other day. It sounds like it would be difficult to find the right foods to eat at first. Fortunately, there is alot more awareness about it recently, so it should be easier to find the kinds of foods you need at the regular grocery store. Do you have a food co-op nearby? Or Trader Joes also has reasonable prices.

Maybe once you get everything under control it will be easier to start losing pounds. Good luck to you!

I had been to a gastro dr and he never helped one bit. So I got really sick this past two weeks and went to see an Natural healing practioner and found that I am having reactions to wheat and soy foods. I hope that the allergist has some helpful information cause I am really confused about what I can and can not eat. I have been reading a lot onilne about what to avoid. There is just not much to choose from that is wheat free. I have heard about rice flour and rice pasta's. However a lot of these items can only be purchased at health food shoppes and they are very expensive. I bought the sprouted grain bread it is really good, but it is 5.00 a loaf. So it can get pricey.

I wont know until all the tests come back. Right now, we just know I can not
have anything with wheat, breads, cakes, any types of of breaded stuff.

We do not have a co -op or trader joe's. Sure wish we did. I may have to go
out of town for some of the things I need.

I sure hope I can get better soon as well and I am hoping that I can do
better with weight loss.

Thanks,
Tammy

Thanks Deb, I sure hope that I can get well soon too. I do feel better now
that I am not eating wheat based products.
Maybe I will be able to lose some weight now that I am not eating breads and
breaded products.

Hugs,
Tammy
